Milan, Italy, 2026 October 06 – Sungrow, a globally leading PV inverter and energy storage system provider, has signed an agreement with Matrix Konstruksion and Blessed Investment Group to build “Project Blue,” Albania’s largest privately developed PV park, with 185 MWp of installed solar capacity, 130 MWh BESS and no government subsidies.
The initiative combines the expertise of local partners with Sungrow’s cutting-edge technology and represents a significant milestone for large-scale renewable energy deployment in the Western Balkans.
At the heart of the installation are 26 PowerTitan 2.0 battery units and 13 MVS3460-LS units, forming Sungrow’s liquid-cooled BESS solution designed to enhance grid flexibility and facilitate the integration of renewable power.
The next phase of Project Blue will add 164 MWp of solar capacity and an 80 MW / 180 MWh BESS, further expanding the project’s contribution to Albania’s renewable energy infrastructure.

Project Blue is jointly owned and developed by Matrix Konstruksion and Blessed Investment Group, combining their investment capabilities and complementary expertise in project development and execution.
