Located in the historic region of Pella in northern Greece, this project shows how a modern solar-plus-storage solution can strengthen the energy resilience of a commercial facility. With strong sunlight, seasonal heat, and the need for stable power, the site required a system that could deliver both reliability and long-term sustainability. Sungrow supplied an integrated clean-energy setup that supports daily operations while reducing dependence on the grid. The result is a future-ready power solution that makes better use of Greece’s abundant solar resources and helps the facility move toward a more efficient, sustainable energy model.

Benefits
The system combines a 135 kW PV module rooftop system with 220 kWh of Sungrow SBH-series battery storage. The SH25T hybrid inverter ensures high conversion efficiency and seamless coordination between PV generation, charging, and discharging cycles. All devices are centrally managed through the COM100D-EU monitoring system, enabling unified communication and stable plant operation. During peak-sunlight hours, surplus PV energy charges the battery system. In the evening and during high-demand periods, the stored energy offsets the site’s consumption, reducing grid imports and smoothing power fluctuations. This operational flexibility is particularly valuable in regions like Pella, where solar generation is abundant but grid stability can vary.
