As part of its corporate social responsibility and sustainability strategy, CP Group joined the RE100 initiative with a firm commitment to using 100% renewable energy. The rollout began with rooftop solar installations across their retail businesses—providing broad public access to clean energy awareness. Project kickoff: June 2025 Long-term goal: Full transition to clean energy within the CP Group

Rolling out a clean energy initiative nationwide across multiple retail formats presents several challenges, such as: Limited rooftop space for installations Installation constraints due to 24/7 store operations Coordination among property owners, contractors, and local store managers Adapting existing electrical systems to solar integration

Sungrow, in collaboration with partners like Altervim and local engineering teams, provided reliable solar solutions customized to each site. Each system was designed based on store size, energy consumption, and technical constraints. The iSolarCloud platform was implemented to enable real-time system monitoring. Sungrow products were selected for their high reliability and comprehensive after-sales support Altervim led system design, installation, and on-site coordination Customized monitoring solutions were applied at selected branches to enhance energy management
This project marks a critical milestone in the transformation of Thailand’s retail sector toward clean energy. It significantly reduces greenhouse gas emissions and enhances the private sector’s role in climate responsibility.
