A Community Club with a Vision for Change
Founded in 1986 as a small two-court facility, Meadowvale Tennis Club in Dublin Island has grown over the years into a lively six-court community hub. Staying true to its mission of “affordable tennis for everybody,” the club recently took a major step toward long-term sustainability. Facing high electricity bills and limited energy control, the club worked with Solar Clarity and used Sungrow’s smart technology. This project has significantly reduced electricity costs and set the club on a path toward full energy independence.
High Power Demands for a Small Club
Meadowvale’s night-time lighting and facilities consumed large amounts of electricity, pushing costs to unsustainable levels. As a community-driven, nonprofit club, reducing energy expenses was essential to maintaining its open-access ethos.
