Description

The Sungrow WiNet-S WebUI contains a hardcoded password that allows decryption of firmware update files. Attackers who obtain access to this password could decrypt and inspect firmware updates, potentially discovering vulnerabilities or modifying firmware before deployment.

Vulnerable: WINET-SV200.001.00.P027 and earlier versions

Not Affected: WINET-SV200.001.00.P028 and later

Recommended Action: Customers should upgrade to firmware version WINET-SV200.001.00.P028 or higher.

Patch Release: Available now.

Temporary Fix: Restrict WebUI access to trusted IPs until an upgrade is completed.
