Sungrow supplied its C&I ESS PowerStack alongside SG33CX inverters for the Mobilitetshuset Parkside project (Parkside Mobility Hub) — delivering both environmental performance and architectural value in an urban setting.

Parkside Mobility Hub: A Green Urban Landmark
Parkside Mobility Hub in Malmö’s Hyllie district represents a scalable blueprint for sustainable mobility and decentralized energy production. It demonstrates how future urban infrastructure can combine clean energy and smart mobility into a seamless solution. The facility accommodates 430 vehicles—over 200 of them with EV charging ready—and includes a panoramic rooftop staircase and an outdoor gym, creating additional value for the wider public.
It also incorporates climate-optimized construction, façade-integrated PV glass, and local energy production. Parkside is designed to align both Malmö’s 2030 climate goals and LFM30’s high sustainability standards, featuring climate-smart materials like timber, recycled steel, and low-carbon concrete.

What We Delivered
At the heart of the energy system lies four units of Sungrow’s PowerStack - an intelligent, liquid-cooled ESS for commercial and industrial use designed to optimize the use of solar energy and enhance grid resilience in real-time. With a storage capacity of 916 kWh, it seamlessly integrates with high-efficiency inverters and AI-based energy management platforms to ensure reliable and efficient energy storage and distribution.
Combining with Sungrow’s robust SG33CX multi-MPPT string inverter, it offers a maximum efficiency of 98.7%, features smart management capabilities, and is compatible with bi-facial modules. Together, the system delivers an EV-ready infrastructure that maximizes solar energy utilization while enhancing grid resilience.
