The Background
The TCTD project brings clean energy to cooperative members across Thailand by supporting residential solar rooftop installations. It makes solar energy more accessible to the average household and enables families to reduce long-term electricity costs via the power of sustainable technology.
The Challenges
Barriers to Overcome The TCTD project faced several challenges—from the difficulty of remote areas installations to a how limited public knowledge about solar technology. There was also a need for reliable, high-quality products backed by strong after-sales support.
The Solution
Sungrow entered the scene with a range of certified products supported by hands-on training for both local technicians and installers, ensuring these challenges were not insurmountable, and helping every solar system deployed to perform efficiently and reliably.
The Impacts
Ubiquitous Clean, Solar Energy This project marked a major step in bringing clean energy to Thai households. With 5,000 homes now equipped with residential PV systems, it's a main driver in the reduction of fossil fuel dependancy while also being a symbol of shining collaboration between local cooperatives and renewable energy developers.
