EVN, Austria’s largest charging station operator with more than 3,600 charging points, is a leading force in the country’s transition to sustainable mobility. With demand for EV charging growing rapidly, EVN needed to expand its fast-charging network with reliable, high-performance solutions allowing ease of use, minimal maintenance and robust durability. The challenge was to ensure high availability and efficient operation across EVN’s extensive charging infrastructure.

Our Solution

Since early 2024, EVN has partnered with Sungrow to integrate the IDC180E DC fast charging station into its network. After a successful pilot phase, Sungrow now supplies multiple units to support EVN’s expansion. The IDC180E provides simultaneous charging with up to 90 kW per port, delivering high efficiency in a compact footprint. With IP65 protection, C5 corrosion resistance, and Sungrow’s patented Isolated Air-Cooling Technology, the chargers ensure stable, quiet, and low-maintenance operation, perfectly suited for nationwide deployment.
