Application:
Daye, a city whose name translates to "Great Smelter," possesses a rich industrial heritage forged over centuries in its extensive coal, iron, and copper mines and a renowned smelting industry. In a strategic pivot towards a sustainable future, Daye is now leveraging this legacy to spearhead its energy transition into the green hydrogen sector. This transformation is embodied by the "Daye Hydrogen Energy Mining Comprehensive Construction Project," launched in 2023. The initiative pioneers the integration of green hydrogen technologies with the city's abandoned mines, creating a novel model for industrial renewal. Core project components include the construction of three new green hydrogen production plants, powered by dedicated photovoltaic (PV) stations, and the development of integrated hydrogen refueling infrastructure.
This marks China's first exploration of large-scale hydrogen storage in rock caverns, as well as the inaugural attempt at integrated operation of ALK and PEM electrolyzers.
We pioneer the integrated operation of ALK and PEM electrolyzers, enabling an innovative underground hydrogen storage model that transforms abandoned mines into “green hydrogen storage facility”.
